If You Don’t Live Here Don’t Surf Here is the first full-length album by the band Mesmerized by Avon. The album features 12 original songs written and recorded at home. Their music sounds like it comes from an alternate universe where Taylor Swift’s stockbroker father, racked by the residual guilt he carried from making money off the backs of working people, killed himself shortly after Taylor started 7th grade.

About Us

Mesmerized By Avon

American band formed by Brigette (Jet) Adair Herron and Scott Creney (formerly of Athens, GA based band Tunabunny). They started playing every night while quarantined with each other in 2020, with Scott on drums and Brigette on vox/guitar. Their name is inspired from a piece of trash they saw on a playground. Sounding like Robyn Hitchcock goes to New Zealand, writing concise power pop songs that threaten to fall apart at any second.
